DPRK government gives reception in welcome of government delegation of Russian Federation
The government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea gave a reception at the Yanggakdo International Hotel on the evening of the 18th in welcome of the government delegation of the Russian Federation on a visit to the DPRK.
Invited to the reception were the Russian government delegation led by Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Alexandr Kozlov, Chairman of the Russian Side to the Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology between the DPRK and Russia, Alexandr Matsegora, Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.
Present there were Minister of External Economic Relations Yun Jong Ho, Chairman of the DPRK Side to the Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology between the DPRK and Russia, and officials concerned.
Speeches were made at the reception.
Yun Jong Ho touched on mutual cooperation and visits in all fields including politics, the economy, culture and sports according to the agreement made in the historic DPRK-Russia Pyongyang summit meeting.
He stressed that the Eleventh Meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology between the DPRK and Russia would bring about a substantial result conducive to improving the well-being of the peoples of the two countries by further developing cooperation between the two countries.
Alexandr Kozlov said the Eleventh Meeting would be an important occasion of presenting tasks and orientation for strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
He said the friendly relations between the top leaders of Russia and the DPRK and cooperation and support of both sides are a good example of co-existence of the two powerful states in the present century and expressed a will to contribute to expanding and developing the Russia-DPRK friendly relations that greeted the heyday.
