Third National Meeting of Active Heads of People's Neighbourhood Units held


The Third National Meeting of Active Heads of People's Neighbourhood Units took place in Pyongyang on the 16th and the 17th.
Present at the meeting were Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and other senior officials of the Party and government, exemplary heads of people's neighbourhood units and chiefs of dong offices from across the country, and officials of the provincial, city and county people's committees and relevant sectors.
Premier Pak Thae Song made an opening address.
In his report, Vice-Premier Kim Myong Hun said today the work of dong and people's neighbourhood units is an important one that plays a big role in further strengthening our single-hearted unity and defending the genuine superiority of Korean-style socialism. He called for fundamentally innovate the work of dong and people's neighbourhood units in keeping with the radical development of our state.
Then speeches were made.
