Wreathes laid at Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong
Wreathes were laid at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on the 17th on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.
Guards of honour of the Korean People's Army were standing at the cemetery.
Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and other senior officials of the Party and the government, officials of the Party Central Committee and leading officials of the ministries, national agencies, the Pyongyang Municipal Party Committee and the district (county) Party committees.
Also on hand were teaching staffs and students of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and the Chilgol Revolutionary School.
The national anthem of the DPRK was played.
Amid the playing of wreath-laying music, wreathes were placed on the wreath-laying stand in the names of the Central Committee of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
The visitors paid a silent tribute to the memory of the revolutionary martyrs who devoted their all to the sacred cause for the national liberation and the people's freedom and happiness.
Then they looked round the cemetery.
They placed flowers before the busts of martyrs and paid homage to them.
