DPRK Premier makes field survey of different sectors
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors of the national economy.
He visited the Huichon Precision Machine Factory to encourage its workers who are waging a vigorous struggle for increased production. He also stressed that the factory taking an important position in the development of vehicle industry of the country should always pay attention to strengthening its material and technical foundations, improve the quality of products and boost their productivity.
At the Jonchon Rock-Drill Factory, he underscored the need to carry out its production plan without fail and develop and produce new-type of rock drills of high performance in keeping with the increasing demand for rock drills in different sectors of the national economy.
Looking round a number of workshops and new production processes of the PyongyangKim Jong Suk Textile Mill, he underlined the need to steadily register the successes in the production by increasing the working efficiency of the employees.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed the issues on directing efforts to acquiring and introducing new technologies through the sci-tech learning spaces, on strengthening the ranks of technicians and skilled workers and on fully supplying equipment and materials needed for the development of new products and production, before taking necessary measures.
Earlier, Pak Thae Song called at the Salt Industry Bureau to acquaint himself with the production, discuss some problems and take measures.
