Film week opens
  A film week opened on the occasion of the greatest holiday of the nation in February.
  "Shine, Jong Il Peak" and other documentaries dealing with the undying revolutionary exploits of the great leader Kim Jong Il will be screened at cinemas and houses of culture in the city of Pyongyang and provinces.
  The feature films "Day and Night of Confrontation", a sequel to "A Day and a Night" and "People of Jagang Province" (Parts 1 and 2) will be projected as well.
  An opening ceremony was held at the Pyongyang International Cinema House on the 10th.
  Present there were Choe Hak Gun, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Hui Thae, Chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, officials, creators and artistes in the filmdom, and working people in the city.
  Jong Yong Nam, Director-General of the National Administration of Motion Picture Industry, made an opening address.
  After the ceremony, the participants appreciated the documentary "Eternal Sun of the People".
  That day, film weeks opened in the provinces as well.
