Ceremony held to welcome DPRK party and government delegation
A ceremony was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the 11th to welcome the party and government delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea led by Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, on an official visit to the People's Republic of China.
The guard of honour and band of the Chinese People's Liberation Army were lining up at the venue of the welcoming ceremony with the national flags of the DPRK and the People's Republic of China standing.
Present at the ceremony were Kim Song Nam, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and other members of the DPRK party and government delegation.
Also on hand were Li Qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Wu Zhenglong, Member and Secretary General of the State Council, Zheng Shanjie, Head of the National Development and Reform Committee, Wang Wentao, Minister of Commerce, and officials concerned.
When the DPRK party and government delegation arrived at the Great Hall of the People, Li Qiang warmly greeted it.
The national anthems of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the People's Republic of China were played.
Pak Thae Song, together with Li Qiang, reviewed the guard of honour of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
