Regional-industry factories inaugurated in Kilju County
An inaugural ceremony of regional-industry factories in Kilju County for the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" was held on the 23rd.
It was attended by leading officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs and other members of the central leadership body of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of North Hamgyong Province and Kilju County, working people, soldier-builders and employees of the regional-industry factories.
Ri Il Hwan, Secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, made an inaugural address.
He stressed that the era of regional change making the country and the people more affluent and beautiful is a brilliant embodiment of the outstanding idea and extraordinary leadership ability of the respected ComradeKim Jong Un and a clear demonstration of the boundless happiness of the people living in his great bosom.
He said the work of regional development to be done more widely and positively in the future according to the plan of the Party will bring greater transformation and further accelerate the vigorous advance of the state toward a bright future, and ardently called for devoting the wisdom and enthusiasm for the beloved hometown and the eternal prosperity of the country true to the noble intention ofKim Jong Un .
The inauguration tape was cut by Secretary Ri Il Hwan, Jong Kyong Thaek, Director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, and Pak Jong Gun, Vice-Premier of the Cabinet and Chairman of the State Planning Commission.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the new regional-industry factories.
That evening, colourful fireworks were set off in celebration of the inauguration of the regional-industry factories.
