Official delegation of Russian Federation arrives in Pyongyang
An official delegation of the Russian Federation led by Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin arrived in Pyongyang on the 25th to participate in the inaugural ceremony of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations at the invitation of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Ministry of National Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The national flags of the DPRK and the Russian Federation were fluttering on the flagpoles at the Pyongyang International Airport and guards of honour of the Korean People's Army were standing at the apron in front of the terminal.
Jo Yong Won, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the SPA of the DPRK, warmly received Vyacheslav Volodin.
The delegation was greeted by Kim Jong Gyu, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vladimir Topekha, charge d'affaires ad interim of the Russian embassy in the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.
