Innovations made in farm machine production
The first- and second-stage remodelling projects of the Kumsong Tractor Factory were carried on, changing it into a comprehensive factory producing tractors of high horsepower and efficient farm machines and into a factory leading the development of farm machine industry of the country. The factory is producing all sorts of farm machines, making a trial run of high-horsepower tractors and assembling cultivators at the same time.
The Hamhung Mounted and Trailed Farm Implements Factory is directing efforts to producing the accessories of rice-seedling transplanters while pushing ahead with the remodelling work for raising the horsepower of tractors.
The Haeju Farm Machine Factory is producing a lot of accessories of small rice harvesters and rice-seedling transplanters. The Namsi Husbandry Machine Factory is putting efforts into improving the quality of husbandry machines of all kinds and enhancing their performance.
