Lots of textbooks and reference books written
The university put efforts into writing new textbooks and reference books conducive to improving the quality of education in accordance with its mission as a centre of teacher education and a "pedigree farm" for training younger generations.
After a kind measure was taken to establish a national education aid system for persons with disabilities, the university intensified the work to complete the contents and methods of education according to the characteristics of kinds of disabilities and ages. As a result, it formulated and systematized basic theoretical problems of education for disabled children, pioneered the subjects according to kinds of disabilities and ages and wonderfully completed the "Pedagogy for Disabled Children" which can give education to all the disabled children in a scientific way.
In addition, the university wrote textbooks and reference books on political and ideological subjects, natural sciences, literature, foreign languages and art in succession, making an active contribution to improving the quality of education and further enriching its contents.
It also made successes in writing textbooks according to the second universal 12-year compulsory education programme.
