Farm Machine Research Institute inaugurated
The institute has all kinds of establishments, experimental apparatuses and equipment needed for the study of farm machines, trial manufacture, technical exchange and exhibition of products as well as the living conditions for researchers. It is a comprehensive and multi-functional base that can integrate the scientific research, the training of reserve talents and sci-tech and productive guidance in the farm machine sector.
Its inaugural ceremony was held on the 23rd.
Present there were Vice-Premier and Chairman of the Agricultural Commission Ri Chol Man, officials concerned, officials of the relevant units, working people and employees of the institute.
Ri Chol Man made an inaugural address.
He said the scientists and technicians of the institute should develop modern and efficient farm machines of Korean style and put spurs to optimizing their production, introduction, management and operation, thus bringing about substantial results.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the institute.
