Exhibition of products of regional-industry factories held
An exhibition of products of regional-industry factories newly built in 20 cities and counties as the first entities of the regional development policy of the Workers' Party of Korea was held in the capital city of Pyongyang between the 22nd and the 26th.
The regional-industry factories across the country presented to the exhibition different kinds of foodstuffs including condiments and confectionery with wheat as main raw materials and processed marine products, and more than 439 products of 21 kinds such as laundry soap, plastic daily necessities, furniture and garments.
The exhibition made a scientific and objective appraisal of the goods in the way of quality-index analysis and experts' examination.
Senior Party and government officials, officials of the Party Central Committee, chief secretaries of the provincial Party committees and officials of the Party and government organs in 20 cities and counties learned about the quality of the products in detail and compared the tastes of foodstuffs to make a specific appraisal of the improved quality level of the factories in the regions concerned.
Those officials and employees of the regional-industry factories, who participated in the exhibition, shared successes and experiences achieved in the course of work for normalization of production and improvement of quality to find out practical ways to improve the quality of the products.
