National meeting of exemplary trade unionists of virtue held
A national meeting of exemplary trade unionists of virtue was held in Pyongyang on the 23rd and the 24th.
Present at the meeting were Kim Jong Sun, Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and exemplary trade unionists of virtue from across the country.
An opening address was delivered by Pak In Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea.
A report and speeches were made at the meeting.
The reporter and speakers said today the mental and moral traits of the trade union officials and members have been put on a new high level under the wise leadership and warm care of the respected General SecretaryKim Jong Un and emphasized his trust and devotion permeating the past 10-odd-year-long history of the General Federation of Trade Unions.
They called for adding lustre to the honourable life of the exemplary people of virtue and living up to the love and trust of the Party with loyalty and patriotism.
A letter of pledge toKim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
