Premier Pak Thae Song makes field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province.
At farms and raw material bases in Sukchon and Phyongwon counties, he stressed the need to actively introduce various advanced farming methods for increasing the agricultural production, raise the rate of land utilization according to the regional characteristics and further perfect the agricultural management information system.
At the Anju City Grain Management Station and the Mundok County Paper Mill, he touched on taking practical measures to increase the rate of home production of equipment and that of cleaned rice output and boost the production of farming materials needed for mulching cultivation.
He learned in detail on the spot about the progress of the project for establishment of the C1 chemical industry and the production at the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory.
Earlier, Premier Pak discussed the ways to produce wagons and improve their quality at the Wonsan Rolling Stock Factory.
