Secretary of WPK CC meets with Russian President

Hi Yong, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the
Workers' Party of Korea, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and
Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission of the Party, on a visit
to Russia at the head of the delegation of the WPK, met Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, at the Kremlin of Moscow on February 27.
At the talk, President Putin asked Ri Hi Yong to convey his warmest greetings and best wishes to ComradeKim Jong Un , President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Ri Hi Yong courteously conveyed the militant greetings ofKim Jong Un to Vladimir Putin.
Saying thatKim Jong Un pays deep attention to the development of cooperative relations between Russia and the DPRK, Putin warmly welcomed the delegation of the WPK to Russia.
He highly appreciated once again the historic meaning of 2024 when the traditional friendly relations between the states of Russia and the DPRK were tremendously developed into those of comprehensive strategic partnership.
Saying the two countries have been firmly linked with good tradition of friendship and good neighbour, and military comradeship, he expressed thanks to the DPRK for actively supporting the Russian Federation.
He expressed the belief that the 2025--2027 Protocol on Expanding and Developing in Depth the Many-Sided Cooperation between the WPK and the United Russia Party will make a great contribution to developing the relations between the ruling parties of the two countries.
