DPRK Premier makes field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province.
He visited the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine under the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-Mining Complex and encouraged its officials and workers who are giving fresh spurs to the campaign for increased production to carry out the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK. He stressed the need to secure enough reserve coal faces by giving precedence to prospecting and tunnelling and achieve stable and sustainable production growth by steadily improving the transport capacity.
At the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory, he learned in detail about the production of ammonium phosphate fertilizer to be used in this year's farming and called for actively introducing advanced production methods while firmly ensuring normalized production by directing efforts to readjustment and reinforcement of each process and system.
Looking round the Sunchon Catfish Farm, he said the productivity should be raised by taking thorough measures to ensure water temperature of fishponds and supply feed at each stage of growth in conformity with winter conditions so as to glorify the leadership exploits of the Party for the farm with increased production.
Consultative meetings held on the spot discussed the problems concerned and took relevant measures.
