The Issue Prioritized in Education Sector
The secondary general education is very important in the education system of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as a stage of basic education to train the rising generations as able revolutionary personnel.
One day in February 2017, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the newly built Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans.
He looked round different places of the school whose classrooms had been put on a multifunctional and IT footing according to the characteristics of the primary educational unit and attended a mother tongue lesson as an observer to learn in detail about the teaching method, use of teaching aids and cognitive faculty of the pupils.
He said: When the quality of primary and secondary education is raised, it is possible to improve the quality of overall education including higher education. During the period of receiving primary and secondary education, the students will have ability to receive university education. That is why I attach the greatest importance to the primary and secondary education.
Kim Jong Un noted that a shortcut to making ours a talent power is in thoroughly implementing the Party's policy on attaching importance to the primary and secondary education, and gave precious instructions which would serve as a guideline in the management and operation of the Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans including the issue on constantly directing great efforts to improving the teachers' qualifications and educational contents, forms and methods.
Thanks to his warm love, our schoolchildren are growing up reliably as pillars to shoulder the future of Korea.
