Peculiar Greenhouse at the Foot of Mt. Ryongak
There is a scenic place called Mt. Ryongak in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The queer peaks of the mountain look like a dragon ready to fly up into the sky, hence its name Ryongak.
A peculiar greenhouse is found at the foot of Mt. Ryongak, drawing attention of many people.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the remodelled Mangyongdae Children's Union Camp at the foot of Mt. Ryongak on June 3, 2016.
Looking round different places of the camp, he said: It is necessary to build hydroponic and vegetable greenhouses at the big camps in the future. Then, the campers can learn how to manage and operate greenhouse and receive object lessons during the camping.

Kim Jong Un taught that when building Children's Union camps, main efforts should be put into providing many spaces for combining theory and practice so that the campers can learn and experience a lot.
Now many visual aids concerning vegetable cultivation have been displayed in the greenhouse for practical education at the camp and there are growing various kinds of vegetables such as tomato, crown daisy, lettuce and bok choy.
According to an official of the camp, all the schoolchildren say in unison that they can understand what they learned at school better as they grow plants by themselves during the camping.
For them, the camping remains a pleasant memory and serves as an important occasion to consolidate their knowledge.
