Naming a Residential District
  Cradles of happiness, ideal streets for the people are built magnificently in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, every year.
  The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the construction site of the Pothong Riverside Terraced Residential District on August 20, 2021.

 

  He asked an official which district it belongs to and stressed the need to name its administrative section meaningfully to symbolically show that it is the most beautiful terraced residential district in Pyongyang.
  And he proposed naming the administrative section of the Pothong Riverside Residential District "Kyongru-dong" and said that in the dictionary the word of "Kyongru" means a beautifully beaded loft and it represents a "palace".
  As said above, Kim Jong Un thought deeply to give a meaningful and beautiful name of "Kyongru-dong" while devoting himself to providing the people with wonderful dwelling houses.
  That was how the luxurious residential district on the Pothong riverside was named "Kyongru-dong".
