Grand Plan and Dynamic Implementation

In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the masses of the people are creators and enjoyers of architecture.
Therefore, architecture represents the emotions and aesthetic sense of the people, ideological and artistic value and usability in the DPRK.
The architectural structures reflect the indications of the times and, accordingly, architecture is an extension and epitome of politics.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un stressed that the design of an architectural structure to be built by the socialist ruling Party for the people should reflect the great ideology, ennobling political creed and aspiration for higher ideals and civilization.
The gigantic construction campaign ongoing in all parts of this country ranging from the capital city of Pyongyang to remote mountain villages is the one of Kim Jong Un's love for the people.
Kim Jong Un gave field guidance to the project for sprucing up the city of Samjiyon in November 2021.

Saying that the project is the first stage and just the beginning of the work for realizing the strategic plan of the Workers' Party of Korea to develop over 200 cities and counties across the country simultaneously, he stressed the need to transform the whole country by consolidating and generalizing the successes and experiences gained in the reconstruction of the city of Samjiyon.
He said all cities and counties should be built as good as the city of Samjiyon, adding that it is our core task to work out the city and county development plans properly and make persevering efforts to implement them so that the people can really enjoy a civilized living environment.
That day he gave instructions which would serve as guidelines in building up the cities and counties and emphasized that the designs should be done to represent the great ambition of our Party looking ahead into 50 and 100 years to come, to reflect the idea of our Party and feelings and sentiment of our people and to be proud before the rising generations.
The spark of regional construction struck in the city of Samjiyon spread all over the country, ushering in a new era of radical transformation and regional change.
The appearance of the DPRK is changing day by day under the energetic leadership of Kim Jong Un who conceives a grand plan to turn all cities and counties into a socialist utopia and implements it dynamically.
