Agricultural management information system updated
This year the Agricultural Commission has added to the system the new data on characteristics of hundreds of species, data on soil analysis of millions of plots across the country and weather data at one hundred and scores of meteorological observation points in close contact with the Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other units concerned. It has also pushed ahead with the work to integrate the information systems used in the agricultural sector, interlink with national information systems and add new functions.
As a result, the agricultural management information system could be further developed into the one of taking more correct measures to solve the important problems arising in farming and of contributing to putting the state affairs on an IT footing.
The operation of the updated system began some time ago.
