Wreaths laid at liberation towers and cemeteries of fallen soldiers of Soviet Army
  Staff members of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea laid a wreath before the Liberation Tower on the 11th on the occasion of the National Day of Russia.
  Guards of honour of the Korean People's Army were standing at the tower.
  Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were charge d'affaires ad interim Vladimir Topeha and staff members of his embassy, and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK.
  The national anthems of the Russian Federation and the DPRK were played.
  Amid the playing of the wreath-laying music, a wreath in the name of the Russian embassy was laid at the Liberation Tower.
  The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the fallen soldiers of the Soviet Army before looking round the tower.
  That day, they laid a wreath and flowers at the cemetery of the fallen soldiers of the Soviet Army in Sadong District.
  Earlier, staff members of the Russian Consulate General in Chongjin called at the Liberation Tower and the cemetery of the fallen soldiers of the Soviet Army in the city of Chongjin.
