DPRK weightlifter Kim Il Gyong wins three gold medals
  Kim Il Gyong from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea won three gold medals at the women's 58-kilogram event of the 2026 Asian Weightlifting Championships.
  On the 13th, she lifted 105 kilograms (new Asian record) in snatch, 125 kilograms in clean and jerk, and 230 kilograms in total, coming first in three categories.
  On the other hand, Pak Myong Jin bagged silver medals in clean and jerk, and total and a bronze medal in snatch of the men's 65-kilogram event.
