Efforts made to strengthen ranks of medical workers
Measures are taken to improve the clinical skills and academic qualifications of the medical workers of the city and county hospitals.
Activities of the mobile treatment and education teams composed of medical workers with rich clinical experience and high ability from the central-level hospitals including the Korea General Red Cross Hospital and the Hospital of the Pyongyang University of Medical Sciences are conducted at the Kangdong County Hospital, the Kusong City Hospital and the Ryonggang County Hospital.
Technical transfer is also given to the medical workers of the city and county hospitals to be built this year.
Active efforts are made to reform the medical education system and improve the conditions of practical education for the students so as to train a lot of able and promising specialists in the public health sector.
