DPRK Premier learns about farming in provinces
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, grasped farming in South Phyongan and South and North Hwanghae provinces on the spot.
At a number of farms in those provinces he learned in detail about the growth of winter wheat and barley, discussed measures to minimize the damage by drought and pointed out some issues on promoting the farming processes including rice-transplantation according to a well thought-out plan.
Earlier, Premier Pak called at the fifth-stage construction site of the Hwasong area to discuss some issues on carrying out projects correctly while giving priority to the improvement of quality and on supplying in time the equipment and materials needed for construction at the sectors and units concerned and take relevant measures.
