Russian official delegation back home
The official delegation of the Russian Federation led by Speaker of the
State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin returned home on the 27th after taking part in the inaugural ceremony of the Memorial Museum of Combat
Feats at the Overseas Military Operations at the invitation of the
Supreme People's Assembly and the Ministry of National Defence of the
Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The national flags of the DPRK and the Russian Federation were fluttering at the flagpoles of the Pyongyang International Airport and guards of honour of the Korean People's Army were standing at the apron in front of its terminal.
Jo Yong Won, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the SPA of the DPRK, warmly saw Vyacheslav Volodin off.
The delegation was seen off by Vice-Foreign Minister Kim Jong Gyu, officials concerned, and charge d'affaires ad interim Vladimir Topekha and staff members of the Russian embassy in the DPRK.
