Pyongyang International Exhibition of Tourist Souvenirs and Health Products opens
The Pyongyang International Exhibition of Tourist Souvenirs and Health Products opened with the aim of making our tourism a new industry conducive to the economic growth, civilization and development of the country.
Presented to the exhibition were diverse craftworks, decorations and other tourist souvenirs and health products developed and turned out by the Ministry of Light Industry, the Ministry of Public Health and other units and Russian and Chinese business firms as well as data on sci-tech successes.
An opening ceremony of the exhibition was held at the Sci-Tech Complex on the 10th. Present there were Jong Song Il, Director-General of the National Tourism Administration, officials concerned, officials of the exhibitor units, working people and members of the exhibition delegations of Russia and China.
A speech was made at the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
