Much effort put into creating forests for raw materials
  Officials and working people across the country put much effort into creating forests for raw materials to implement the regional development policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.
  South Phyongan Province planted more than 1.6 million pine-nut trees, evodias and bamboo willows in the area of one thousand and hundreds of hectares.
  North Phyongan Province directed efforts to creating oil-bearing and paper stock forests.
  South Hwanghae Province planted trees in over 2,500 hectares of forests for raw materials. Other regions planted a lot of trees in forests for raw materials in spring.
