President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un sends message of sympathy to Lao President
  Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of sympathy to Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on April 2.
  The message said.
  I, on behalf of the WPK, the government of the DPRK and the Korean people and on my own behalf, express deep condolences to you and the party, government and people of Laos and to the bereaved family of the deceased at the sad news that Khamtay Siphandone regrettably passed away.
  I believe that the Lao party, government and people would overcome the sorrow of loss and achieve greater success in the struggle for defending and advancing the socialist cause as desired by Khamtay Siphandone.
