28th National Cooking Festival held
The 28th National Cooking Festival was held at the Pyongyang Noodle House between March 31 and April 3 on the occasion of the greatest national holiday in April.
The festival was participated in by chefs and waitresses selected from the Guidance Bureau of Public Catering Service, the public catering service amenities in the city of Pyongyang and provinces (cities directly under the central authority), external service sector, ministries and national agencies as well as housewives. Presented to the festival were more than 800 peculiar dishes and drinks and over 270 sci-tech successes.
A closing ceremony was held on April 3. A result of examination was made public and diplomas, medals and certificates were awarded to the highly estimated units and individuals at the ceremony.
