DPRK Premier makes field survey of different sectors
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors.
Looking round the construction site of the third-stage 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area nearing completion, he said all the construction projects should be completed on the highest qualitative level without any defect and full preparations for their inauguration be made and the officials of the construction inspection organs, in particular, should do their duty.
At the construction site of the fourth-stage 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area, he encouraged the officials and builders and touched on thoroughly carrying on the overall project as scheduled from the stage of foundation work while planning and commanding it in detail since the scale of construction has been expanded along with additional objects.
He called at the construction site of the Phyongsong Lighting Necessaries Factory and stressed the need to push ahead with the project with much effort so that the factory can discharge its mission and role as a model base for producing necessary articles and to promote the preparations for its operation at the same time.
Acquainting himself with the operation of the pilot plants of the Heat Engineering and Ferrous Metal research institutes under the State Academy of Sciences, he said the scientists and researchers should make remarkable successes in technical development conducive to strengthening the independence of the economy.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed the issues on afforesting the residential quarters and their surroundings in the Hwasong area on a high level, speeding up the readjustment of the zones and supplying and transporting building materials in time at the units concerned, on providing full conditions necessary for scientific researches of researchers and on putting nationwide efforts into building up pilot plants well.
