Construction of regional-industry factories starts in Pukchang, Yomju, Paechon, Janggang, Cholwon and Kilju counties
Groundbreaking ceremonies for the construction of regional-industry
factories were held respectively in Pukchang, Yomju, Paechon, Janggang, Cholwon and Kilju counties on February 27 amid the great expectation and concern of the local people.
Present at the ceremonies were Kim Tok Hun and Choe Tong Myong, Members of the Political Bureau and Secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Han Kwang Sang, Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, chief secretaries of the provincial Party committees, officials and working people in the provinces and counties concerned and soldier-builders.
The speakers said it is the general plan of the new regional development policy set forth by the WPK to change the material life of the regional people and all other aspects of the regions to represent the development of the socialist state and modern civilization and accelerate the overall national prosperity with regional rejuvenation.
Then speeches were made by the commanders of the 124th regiments of the Korean People's Army.
They expressed their will to glorify the noble name of the pioneer of civilization in the new era and creator of the people's happiness in the sacred sites of the regional revolution, keeping in their minds the trust of the Central Committee of the WPK that put them up as the vanguard for accomplishing the historic cause of regional rejuvenation.
The soldier-builders got to the construction work.
