Secretary of CC, WPK meets President of United Russia Party

Hi Yong, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the
Workers' Party of Korea, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and
Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission of the Party, on a visit
to Russia at the head of the delegation of the WPK, met Dmitri Anatoliyevich Medvedev, President of the United
Russia Party, on February 26.
He courteously conveyed the warm greetings of the respected ComradeKim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, to Dmitri Anatoliyevich Medvedev, President of the United Russia Party.
Medvedev expressed sincere thanks to it and requested Ri to convey toKim Jong Un his heartfelt best wishes for a greater success in the important work of leading the Party and the state.
He warmly welcomed the Moscow visit by the high-ranking delegation of the WPK and said that the revitalized connection between the ruling parties of the two countries will further enrich the bilateral relations between Russia and the DPRK developing on good terms.
He noted that a new era of development of the Russo-Korean relations has come thanks to active role of the leaders of the two countries and that the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership signed last year completely conforms to the international law and took full account of the changing reality.
Expressing thanks to the DPRK for its support to the Russian Federation, he stressed that all measures taken by the DPRK to defend sovereignty and security are legitimate and just.
He expressed his will to continuously strengthen the close cooperation between the United Russia Party and the WPK, further expand many-sided exchanges and contacts with the current visit by the latter's delegation as an occasion and thus open a new chapter of the development of relations.
