Greetings from Vietnamese FM

Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui received a message of greetings from Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son on January 22 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
The message said that over the past 75 years the traditional Viet Nam-DPRK friendly relations provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung and developed with much effort by the leaders and peoples of different generations of the two countries have been constantly consolidated and a new development was made after President Kim Jong Un's historic visit to Viet Nam in March 2019 in particular.
It expressed the belief that good and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between Viet Nam and the DPRK would be consolidated and developed more effectively, substantially and comprehensively thanks to the joint efforts of the two foreign ministries in 2025, the year of Viet Nam-DPRK friendship. In the message the Vietnamese Foreign Minister stressed that he is ready to keep working in close cooperation for the interests of the peoples of the two countries and for making a contribution to peace, stability, cooperation and development of the region and the world.
