KCNA issues report

The Korean Central News Agency made public a report on the 22nd concerning the fact that flooded areas of North Phyogan, Jagang and Ryanggang provinces were turned into socialist utopias.
The report said:
Under the outstanding leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea with the people-first principle as its revolutionary climate, wonderful socialist Shangri-Las have been built in the northwestern border areas of the country glorifying the new era of overall state rejuvenation which brings the century-old desire of the people into reality.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who is endowed with the spirit of devoted service for the people as his disposition, made a great and bold determination to change the flood-hit areas in North Phyongan, Jagang and Ryanggang provinces into ideal "cultured rural towns", the cultured mountainous towns, and organized and led the gigantic construction operation in the van.
Entire Party members, working people, service personnel of the People's Army and other young people, who have turned out like a surging wave, true to the noble intention of the Party Central Committee to lead the flood rehabilitation to a big stride in the course of healing pains of the people, providing them with greater welfare and changing the countryside, built the cradle of civilized life of the people, the creations of dramatic change, in the areas of flood rehabilitation.
Many-storeyed and one-story modern flats for more than 15,000 families, nurseries, kindergartens, schools, hospitals and clinics were built afresh and dwelling houses of over 6,000 families repaired in a little over 4 months, and the Amnok River embankment project, river improvement project, railways, roads and bridge reconstruction project have been powerfully promoted, thus effecting a miracle in the history of construction to change the northwestern region of the country beyond recognition.
The dramatic change witnessed in the northwestern region of the country demonstrating the will of the Party Central Committee for defending the people and the might of army-people unity is the most precious gift to the December plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee presented by the people of the whole country at a significant moment of greeting the hopeful new year.
Only victory and glory are in store for the country which advances towards a new era of overall state development powerfully demonstrating the mightiness and valour of Juche Korea firmly rallied behind the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
