Knapsack Bags for the Rising Generations
The pupils and students have been supplied with knapsack bags since 2017 in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
It was one of the undertakings conceived by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, long ago to provide the rising generations with wonderful homemade school things, uniforms, shoes and bags.
According to his plan, a bag cloth production process with big capacity was built at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, a large-scale cloth producer of the country, in 2015 and a zip production process at the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site Souvenir Factory and schoolbag factories in the provinces in 2016.
One day in June 2016, Comrade Kim Jong Un gave important instructions on the creation of bag designs to the officials of the Central Industrial Art Bureau (then Central Industrial Art Guidance Bureau).
He stressed the need to make various types of bags, print pictures of characters and animals from Korean cartoons and put sponge into shoulder straps and earnestly called for making good schoolbags.

In December that year, he examined over 190 designs of schoolbags one by one for meticulous guidance.
And he sent the completed designs to the Pyongyang Bag Factory.

In this way he developed the eye of creators. Under his loving care, the knapsack bags for the pupils and students could be made.
The work for the rising generations is regarded as a policy and the most important of the state affairs in the DPRK thanks to the love of Comrade Kim Jong Un who wants to make the children happiest in the world.
