Special Performance Given in the Capital City

A special performance was given in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in late December 2019, drawing the attention of many people.
The performance was given with splendour by art circle members of a fishery station of a province. Here is a story telling about it.
The August 25 Fishery Station where they work is well known to the people as it was visited by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un several times.
Comrade Kim Jong Un called at the station on a rainy day and in winter with cold wind so as to supply more fish to the people.
Visiting the station, he named a new ship "Tanphung" in the meaning that the station should reap a good harvest in fishing in the sea as well like rich autumn.
He also set the amount of fish to be caught every year and earnestly said: This is not an order but a request. If you carry out the plan, write a letter to me. I will wait for good news from you.
Later, the employees of the station presented him with a letter after overfulfilling their fishing plan. Reading the letter, Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the station on a wintry day and sat at the edge of a storage tank without ceremony to have a photo taken with officials.
That day, he saw a simple art performance prepared by employees, expressed thanks to them for their ideologically and artistically perfect performance and invited the performers to Pyongyang.

Every number vividly reflected the tireless efforts of Comrade Kim Jong Un for development of the fishing industry and the history of the fishery station which developed under his efforts.
The stage setting of the fishing vessel "Tanphung" and dancing seagulls and props depicting a fish, octopus and clam increased the artistic effect of the performance and made it peculiar.
Their simple yet true performance left deep impressions on the audience.
