Lifting a Block of Frozen Fish
One day in November 2019, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the August 25 Fishery Station and the Thongchon Fish-Processing Station.
That day, he entered the cold storage chambers and looked at the fish packed in them with pleasure time and again. Then he took up a block of frozen fish.
He said he had already likened the blocks of frozen fish to piles of gold bars, adding that it would be the most appropriate comparison.
When he called at other fishery stations, he stroked blocks of frozen fish filling the cold storage chambers with pleasure and lifted one of them to guess its weight.
Whenever he heard the news of a good haul of fish, he was so pleased that he would go hurriedly to the fishery station and merrily hummed the "Song of Big Hauls in the Sea".
As the blocks of frozen fish for the people were so precious, Comrade Kim Jong Un lifted up a block in person with great satisfaction.
