Teaching Method He Taught

The Pyongyang Teachers Training College is in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The college trains educators who will be responsible for the education of primary school and preschool children.
One day in January 2018, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the remodelled Pyongyang Teachers Training College.

That day, he specially emphasized the need to conduct the educational work in a scientific way. He stressed that a success in education cannot be expected without science and technology.
Ryang Un Suk, Chief of the Section for the Study of Educational Methods of the Pyongyang Teachers Training College, said Comrade Kim Jong Un gave important instructions on building up the college well into a model one whose education was put on a highly scientific, IT and modern basis and generalizing it throughout the country, and continued:

"That day, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw our students practising primary school teaching methods.
He watched students, who had worked out methods how to design teaching with computers, present them on the electronic board before having discussions. And he said it is a very good teaching method for the students to have discussions in that way.
It is good that the college gives other forms of lessons as well as discussions in the way of fostering the independence of students and their spirit of inquiry, he added.
He also emphasized that teachers should select words to say in lessons in conformity with the age and psychological characteristics of the students and have high speaking and presenting ability and a good education of improving their utterance should be given."
In this way Comrade Kim Jong Un taught once again that the level and effect of education can be raised rapidly when education is developed by dint of science and technology.
It is his noble intention to train the rising generations into competent talents by raising the education of the country to a more advanced level.

True to his intention, the new generations of Korea are growing into able creative and practical talents.
