The producers of the Munsu Foodstuff Factory located in Taedonggang District of the capital city of Pyongyang are raising a strong wind of emulation.
It is clearly proved by the competitive show involving all the employees.
Official Pak Yong Sam says:
"We induced each of the employees to present a new product with an understanding that the development of new products is not an undertaking of some individuals.
When the employees wanted to see other units, we gave them time to go there. And when they came back and started to make new products, we provided them with everything needed including raw and other materials.
When they made the products, officials jointly reviewed them and held a show before the employees next week or within the month.
If the employees made a good comment on them, we examined their effectiveness and discussed whether they could be produced as goods.
On the basis of the discussion, we produced them."
The factory mass-produces the highly estimated new products on the basis of their production techniques.
It also encourages the employees to present to the show technical renovation proposals for improving the quality of products and lowering the production cost.
After the show, it organizes a technical lecture given by the most skilled workers at the production site.
As a result, the show serves as an important occasion for widening the insight of the employees and exchanging their techniques and experiences.
Today the enthusiasm for emulation gets higher day by day and successes are made in the development of new products at the Munsu Foodstuff Factory.
