President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un visits Vladivostok City of Russian Federation
  The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited Vladivostok City of the Russian Federation on September 16.
  His train entered the yard of Artem--Primorsky Railway Station 1 at 9 o'clock local time.
  He was received by Alexandr Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia; Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of the Maritime Territory Administration; Byacheslav Kwon, Mayor of Artem City; and other central and local cadres.
  He exchanged greetings with the cadres who came out to receive him and warmly acknowledged the welcome of the pretty Russian children waving bouquets.
  Kim Jong Un looked round the Knevichi Military Airfield as the first schedule of his visit to Vladivostok City.
  He was accompanied by Ri Pyong Chol and Pak Jong Chon, Marshals of the Korean People's Army; Kang Sun Nam, Minister of National Defence of the DPRK; General Kim Kwang Hyok, Commander of the Air Force of the KPA; Admiral Kim Myong Sik, Commander of the Navy of the KPA; and other officials and suite members, and central and local cadres of the Russian Federation.
  A guard of honour of the three services of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and the military band were lining up at the Knevichi Military Airfield.
  Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu warmly received the respected Kim Jong Un.
  Kim Jong Un gladly met Defence Minister Shoigu and exchanged friendly greetings with him.
  He reviewed the guard of honour of the three services of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
  He exchanged greetings with Aleksei Krivorutsko, Vice-Minister of Defence; Nikolai Yevmenov, Commander-in-Chief of the Navy; Sergei Kobilash, Commander of the Long-Range Bomber Force; and other military commanding personnel. And he looked round the up-to-date military planes of the Russian Air Force including all kinds of strategic bombers, multipurpose fighters, pursuit planes and assault planes.
  Commander of the Long-Range Bomber Force Sergei Kobilash warmly welcomed Kim Jong Un on a visit to the Knevichi Military Airfield and introduced the military planes on display to him
in detail.
  Looking round the military planes on display, Kim Jong Un heard an explanation on their tactical and technical specifications and learned about their combat efficiency and arms and equipment before having a talk with commanding personnel of the Russian army.
  Commander of the Long-Range Bomber Force Sergei Kobilash presented a gift to Kim Jong Un, expressing his boundless thanks to him for having visited the airfield.
  Kim Jong Un visited the base of the Pacific Fleet.
  The Pacific Fleet received Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, with high respect and trust and the greatest sincerity.
  Kim Jong Un was greeted by Sergei Shoigu, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation; Nikolai Yevmenov, Commander-in-Chief of the Navy; Victor Liina, Commander of the Pacific Fleet; and other commanding officers of the fleet.
  He exchanged greetings with the commanding officers of the navy and went up to the frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov" amid the respects paid by the guards of honour of the three services of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and the Pacific Fleet.
  The captain of the "Marshal Shaposhnikov" made a report of reception.
  Listening to a detailed explanation about naval operational ability, major arms and equipment and combat efficiency of the ship from the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Yevmenov, Kim Jong Un looked round the general commanding centre and steering house.
  He highly appreciated that the officers and men of the Pacific Fleet greatly contribute to peace and security of northeast Asia and the world by displaying the brave fighting spirit and heroism. He conveyed a gift as a token of his visit to the fleet and wrote in the visitor's book as follows: "Victorious track that defended justice and peace will be immortal. Regards to the Pacific Fleet, Kim Jong Un September 16, 2023".
  Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu arranged a luncheon in honour of Kim Jong Un's visit to the Pacific Fleet.
  Speaking at the luncheon, he warmly welcomed once again Kim Jong Un's visit to the Russian Federation and the Pacific Fleet and expressed his will to further intensify the friendship and cooperation between the defence ministries of the two countries.
  Speaking in reply, Minister of National Defence Kang Sun Nam conveyed warm militant greetings of the officers and men of the Korean People's Army to the entire officers and men of the brave Pacific Fleet and expressed his will to further strengthen militant unity and cooperation with the Russian Army and firmly defend peace and stability of the region and the world.
  Sergei Shoigu presented a sincere gift to Kim Jong Un.
  After the luncheon, Kim Jong Un conversed with Sergei Shoigu.
  He expressed his pleasure to meet Defence Minister Shoigu again and highly praised the development, modernity and bravery of the Russian armed forces reliably defending the independent rights and interests of development of the state.
  Defence Minister Shoigu said he was specially accorded warm hospitality by the respected Kim Jong Un during his visit to Pyongyang on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. He expressed thanks to Kim Jong Un for having visited the Russian Federation and encouraged the Russian army and people who turned out to accomplish the just cause.
  Kim Jong Un shared with Sergei Shoigu views on regional and international military and political situation and exchanged constructive opinions on practical issues arising in further strengthening the strategic and tactical cooperation, collaboration and mutual exchange between the armed forces of the DPRK and Russia in the field of defence and security.
  Kim Jong Un appreciated the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" at the Maritime Territory Branch of the Mariinski Theatre that evening, together with Vladivostok citizens.
  Appreciating it were DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, Secretaries of the Central Committee of the WPK O Su Yong and Pak Thae Song and other suite cadres and members.
  Also seeing the performance were Alexandr Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia; Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of the Maritime Territory Administration; and other central and local cadres of Russia.
  Kim Jong Un was warmly received by Russian cadres and Manager of the Theatre Sergei Bannikov.
  When Kim Jong Un who visited Vladivostok City with the friendly feelings towards the Russian people came out to the reserved seats of the theatre together with Korean and Russian cadres, Vladivostok citizens welcomed him with warm applause.
  Highly praising the performance which vividly showed the influence of ballet with beautiful and graceful artistic representation, Kim Jong Un expressed deep thanks to the performers and the theatre side.
