President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un visits aircraft factory of Russia
  The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, arrived in Komsomolsk-Na-Amure, a major industrial city in the Far Eastern Region of the Russian Federation, and visited the Komsomolsk-Na-Amure Aircraft Factory Named after Yu. A. Gagarin.
  Kim Jong Un arrived at the Komsomolsk-Na-Amure Railway Station on the morning of September 15.
  He was courteously received at the railway station by Alexandr Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia; Mikhail Zegtyarov, Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Administration; and Alexandr Zyornik, Mayor of Komsomolsk-Na-Amure City.
  Women in national costume presented him with bread and salt according to their customs.
  A pretty child presented a fragrant bouquet to him.
  Kim Jong Un sent warm greetings to the Russian children waving flags of the two countries in welcome of him.
  Guided by the Russian cadres who came to receive him, he headed for the Komsomolsk-Na-Amure Aircraft Factory Named after Yu. A. Gagarin.
  He was accompanied by Foreign Minister of the DPRK Choe Son Hui, Marshals of the Korean People's Army Ri Pyong Chol and Pak Jong Chon, Minister of National Defence of the DPRK Kang Sun Nam, Secretaries of the Central Committee of the WPK O Su Yong and Pak Thae Song, General Kim Kwang Hyok, Commander of the Air Force of the KPA, and other suite cadres and members.
  He was greeted at the factory by Zenis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Yuri Slyusari, General Manager of the Aerial Production Complex of Russia; and Alexandr Pekarshu, Director of the Komsomolsk-Na-Amure Aircraft Factory Named after Yu. A. Gagarin.
  A woman employee presented a bouquet to Kim Jong Un in welcome of his visit to the factory.
  Listening to an explanation of the Director, Kim Jong Un looked round different places of the factory including the Designing Institute, the Fighter Hull Assembly Workshop, the Airplane Wings Production Workshop, the Painting Workshop and Passenger Plane Assembly Workshop.
  Looking at the photographs of the great leader Kim Jong Il who had visited the factory 21 years before, in different places of the production sites of the factory, he recollected with humble reverence the brilliant life and exploits of Kim Jong Il who made immortal, devoted efforts for the strengthening and development of the DPRK-Russia friendship.
  At the Fighter Hull Assembly Workshop he met test pilots and got on fighter "Su-57" to hear a detailed explanation about the technical specifications of the 5G fighter plane and the performance of its flight.
  Getting on a passenger plane which is produced at the factory, he learned about its performance and saw a test flight of fighter "Su-35". And he highly praised the officials, scientists, technicians and workers of the factory for having achieved excellent successes in the production with high advanced technology and strong spirit, making a great contribution to the development of the air industry of the country.
  He said he was deeply impressed by the rich independent potentiality and modernity of the aircraft-making industry of Russia and its enterprising efforts for constantly new targets, and warmly encouraged them to make sustained development with higher production growth in the future.
  Kim Jong Un had a picture taken with the accompanying senior officials of the DPRK and Russia in front of the aircraft "Su-27" and "Su-30" displayed in the compound as a token of his visit to the factory. 
  Yuri Slyusari, General Manager of the Aerial Production Complex of Russia, gave a luncheon in welcome of Kim Jong Un's visit to the factory.
  Addressing the luncheon, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Director of the factory said Kim Jong Un visited the factory and gave vigour to the development and production of the aircraft of the new generation, and offered warm thanks to him for having highly appreciated the success of the factory in the production.
  Speaking in return, Ri Pyong Chol mentioned that Kim Jong Un visited the meaningful factory and wrote another glorious page to shine forever in the history of development of the DPRK-Russia relations and expressed the belief that the officials and employees of the factory would make a greater contribution to strengthening the defence capability of the country under the leadership of President Putin.
  After the luncheon was over, Kim Jong Un expressed thanks to the officials of the factory for their kind guide and hospitality and wrote in the visitor's book as a token of his visit to the factory as follows; "Feeling the rapid development and great power of the air technology of Russia, September 15, 2023, Kim Jong Un."
  The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Administration and the General Manager of the Aerial Production Complex of Russia presented gifts to Kim Jong Un.
  Before leaving the factory, Kim Jong Un met a test pilot who showed wonderful flying techniques to congratulate and have a picture taken with him against fighter "Su-35".
  He expressed his hearty respects to the air technology of Russia which is making a rapid development while overcoming the latent threats of the outside and wished the factory success in its development in the future.
  That afternoon, Kim Jong Un left for the next destination of his visit amid the send-off of the Russian cadres.
