Saying that the inauguration of the first-stage flats in the Hwasong area would implant in the hearts of the people across the country the firm belief in the new victory of revolution and prosperous future and put spurs to the struggle for attaining the grand goal set by the Eighth Party Congress without fail, he called for vigorously advancing toward the completion of the second-stage project, holding higher the red flag of the construction headquarters of 50,000 flats in Pyongyang City.
Waving back to the enthusiastically cheering crowd, he warmly congratulated the army and civilian builders and the working people who would move into new flats in the wonderful street.

He said to build 50,000 modern flats in the capital of our state is an undertaking long desired by the Party and the state and promoted as the most important affair for providing the citizens with more stable and civilized living conditions. He explained once again the construction policy of the Party prioritizing convenience of the people and his plan to wonderfully build Pyongyang into a city of world level.
He said all the army and civilian builders should open a great heyday not only in the capital city construction but also in local construction with the pride and honour of worthwhile creators and pioneers in writing a new history of development and prosperity of the era of the Workers' Party, thereby accelerating the construction of civilized society.

After the inaugural ceremony, senior officials of the Party and the government and the participants looked round the brilliantly illuminated new street in the Hwasong area.
In the modern residential district where the skyscraping, high-rise apartment houses, public buildings, service amenities and establishments were located in good order in the area of more than 150 hectares, they warmly felt the development of Juche-oriented architecture compressing the time at the Pyongyang speed and ardent patriotism of the army and civilian builders who wonderfully built another monumental structures with undaunted tenacity and tireless spirit of creation.
