President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un meets to congratulate labour innovators and meritorious persons

The respected Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, met the labour innovators and meritorious persons who participated in the celebrations of the 74th founding anniversary of the DPRK and congratulated and encouraged them on September 8.
The participants were wrapped in an excitement and joy to have a picture taken with Kim Jong Un on Mansu Hill where the bronze statues of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, founder and builder of our dignified state, are standing.
Noting that the Party and the government value more than treasures the patriotic efforts and pure conscience of the working people for the motherland, Kim Jong Un said the labour innovators and meritorious persons who are devoting themselves to the country to carry out their civic duty rather than enjoyment are genuine representatives of the people and true patriots.
He highly appreciated the noble outlook on life and exploits of the patriotic working people who are playing a pivotal and leading role with indefatigable efforts as the vanguard of defending socialism and creators of new innovations in their posts and working places, taking the lines and policies of the Party and the state as an immutable truth, and had a picture taken with the labour innovators and meritorious persons.
A grand banquet was given for the labour innovators and meritorious persons at the garden of the Mansudae Assembly Hall in the presence of Kim Jong Un and his wife Ri Sol Ju.
On hand were Kim Tok Hun, Jo Yong Won, Choe Ryong Hae, Pak Jong Chon, Ri Pyong Chol and other senior officials of the Party, the government and the military.
A congratulatory speech was made.
The participants in the banquet shared the deep feelings of a big harmonious family.
Kim Jong Un warmly encouraged the labour innovators and meritorious persons who devote themselves to the prosperity and development of the country and well-being of the people, wishing them good health and success in their work.
Saying the mightiness of our state is supported by the creations and successes in work associated with the inexhaustible patriotic enthusiasm and strenuous efforts and soul of the great people, he expressed the belief that the participants would, in the future, too, honour their worthwhile life as forerunners of the times praised by the country and people.
