National meeting for reviewing emergency anti-epidemic work held

A national meeting for reviewing the emergency anti-epidemic work called by the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was held in the capital Pyongyang on August 10.
The respected Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the DPRK, guided the meeting.
The moment Kim Jong Un came out to the rostrum, all the participants raised stormy cheers.
Present at the meeting were Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, Pak Jong Chon, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and Secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, leading officials of the Party and the government, officials in the field of epidemic prevention and public health, representatives of the Party and members of the Party guidance groups dispatched to the border areas, commanding officers of army units on a mission of blockade, members of the emergency anti-epidemic headquarters at all levels, volunteers who made contribution to the emergency anti-epidemic work and officials of the departments concerned of the Party Central Committee.
Also on hand were Ri Yong Gil and other officials in the emergency anti-epidemic field of the Ministry of National Defence.
The national anthem of the DPRK was solemnly played.
Kim Jong Un made an important speech at the historic meeting which declared the victory in the top-class emergency anti-epidemic campaign.
The meeting heard a report of Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK.
Speeches were made.
The reporter and speakers expressed their will to thoroughly implement the new anti-epidemic policy and tasks advanced by the Party Central Committee, keeping the firm faith that only victory and glory are in store on the road of following Kim Jong Un, and step up the struggle for overall development of building socialism of Korean style, thus demonstrating all over the world the dignity and might of the state.
