President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un visits Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong

The respected Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on April 25 on the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.
He was accompanied by Pak Jong Chon and Ri Pyong Chol, Members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and Secretaries of the Central Committee of the WPK, Ri Yong Gil, Minister of National Defence of the DPRK, and commanders of the large combined units of the Korean People's Army.
A guard of honour of the KPA was lining up at the cemetery.
The national anthem of the DPRK was played.
Amid the playing of the wreath-laying music, a wreath in the name of Kim Jong Un was placed on the wreath-laying stand of the cemetery.
Wreaths were laid in the name of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the KPA.
Kim Jong Un, together with other visitors, observed a moment's silence in memory of the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their youth and lives without hesitation to the accomplishment of the sacred cause for sovereign independence of the country and liberation of the people.
The guard of honour of the KPA marched in file.
Kim Jong Un looked round the cemetery.
He placed flowers before the busts of Kim Chaek, An Kil, Ryu Kyong Su and Choe Hyon and paid noble respects to them.
He said:
The anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, the first generation of our revolution, accomplished the historic cause of national liberation, overcoming the worst adversity beyond human imagination with do-or-die spiritual strength based on the firm faith that they would certainly emerge victorious as they were guided by the great leader Kim Il Sung and the optimism for the validity of their cause and the future. The history of the Juche-oriented army building decorated with victory and glory clearly proves the inexhaustible attraction and immortal vitality of the spirit of Mt. Paektu.
Thanks to April 25 to shine forever in history, the present day of our revolutionary armed forces which have been strengthened into a world-class strong army, the mightiness of socialist Korea and the independent and happy life of our people are possible. Invincible forever is the revolution that continues with the lineage of ideology and blood of faith, Kim Jong Un said and added that the noble soul of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners will be immortal along with the glorious history of our powerful revolutionary army and with the prosperity and development of our great state.
