Home of Love for the Rising Generations

One day in October 1947, the great leader
When the palace was ruined during the Fatherland Liberation War against the armed invasion of the US imperialists in the 1950s, he mounted the hill and conceived a plan to build a bigger and better palace after the victory in the war.
When the palace was under construction, he called at the construction site and said the palace should be built with building materials best in the world.
This is how the Pyongyang Students and Children's Palace was built into a comprehensive centre for extracurricular education equipped with different circle rooms, a theatre and a gym.
Instructor Song Che Son said many talented personnel of the country have grown up at the palace built thanks to the great love, and continued:
"A number of future scientists, technicians, artistes and athletes are trained at the palace every year.
The palace has produced so many future scientists, technicians and artistes since its opening. Through this fact alone, I can more warmly feel the outstanding foresight of the great leader
That's why foreign visitors to the palace lavish praises on it."
Keeping the great love for the rising generations deep in their hearts, the teaching staff of the palace are running it on a highly qualitative level.
They are constantly exploring the method of extracurricular education while combining collective education and individual guidance in keeping with the characteristics of the education for the schoolchildren with different ages, levels and grades.

Many erstwhile circle members, who developed their talents to the full at the palace, have grown to be Labour Hero, Doctor, People's Artist, People's Artiste and People's Athlete.
Indeed, the Pyongyang Students and Children's Palace is the home of love that enables the children to realize their dreams.
