Ri Song Hui, "Woman of Great Strength"
Ri Song Hui is called a "woman of great strength" by the athletes and other people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Born to the family of a worker, she had an unusual taste for sports from her childhood.
The state valued her talent in the bud and enlisted her in a professional sports team in Juche 82(1993).
She trained hard and distinguished herself in many national and international games. She took the first place in the Twelfth Asian Women's Weightlifting Championship true to the expectations of the country and people.
She made a new world record in clean and jerk and finished first in snatch, clean and jerk and total in the 13th Asian Women's Weightlifting Championship.
When foreign reporters asked her about the secret of her victory, Ri Song Hui answered without hesitation that she could lift 131.5 kilograms and set a new world record as she thought the great leader Kim Jong Il was beside her.
She broke world records consecutively in the 14th Asian Games and the 15th World Women's Weightlifting Championships. For her merits, she was awarded the title of Labour Hero of the DPRK, the highest honour of a citizen.
