Place Frequented by Schoolchildren
Caretaker Kim Son Gyong says:
"Our April 15 Children's Flower Garden means a place with all kinds of flowers and plants in full bloom. It has been built to perform its missions as an extracurricular educational base for the schoolchildren and a cultural recreation resort for the people."
The flower garden has more than ten peculiar buildings including the general service building, plants exhibition hall, sports ground, flower shop and flower production greenhouse.
The plants exhibition hall is visited by people most.
It displays hundreds of kinds of flowers and plants according to the temperate, tropical, cold and other climatic zones. Schoolchildren acquire profound knowledge here under the conditions similar to natural environment.
They can hear the explanation of guide robot and watch multimedia programs in the hall.
More and more schoolchildren come to the flower garden after school as well as on holiday.
