Congratulatory message sent to participants in Eighth Congress of SWUK and entire women's unionists
The message congratulated the Socialist Women's Union of Korea on its Eighth Congress which is the largest-scale assembly in the history of the congresses of the women's union demonstrating the loyalty and patriotic zeal of the Korean women held in the wake of the congresses of the youth and trade unionists across the country who made a vigorous stride in hearty response to the fighting programme put forth by the historic Ninth Party Congress.
It said all the successes reviewed by the Party Congress, and the beautiful traces and indelible signs of conscience of the women clearly reflected in the monumental creations representing our dignity and advance are the most correct and precious proof of the work of the women's union. The message highly appreciated the feats performed by the Socialist Women's Union which exalted the image of the entire great people along with the stout and beautiful looks of the Korean women in the era and extended warm congratulations and greetings of encouragement to the participants in the congress and the women's union officials and members across the country.
The women's union should discharge its honourable duty for the Party, revolution, times and country by remaining loyal to the crucial mission of preparing millions of women as genuine social beings sharing idea, aspiration, breath and steps only with the WPK, the message said and indicated the basic tasks facing the women's union in the dynamic struggle of change in the new era for prosperity of the state and practical ways to further enhance the function and role of the women's union organizations.
Saying the country with good women and mothers responsible for their families and society is and will be a beautiful and great power, the message expressed the belief that the organizations of the women's union at all levels and its officials and members will fully demonstrate the upright and noble dignity of the Korean women in the sacred and worthwhile struggle for prosperity of the country always with one mind and purpose.
