Projects for overhauling and building waterway structures completed
Those projects were part of the undertaking for readjusting and rehabilitating the irrigation system that has to overhaul and build nearly 100 irrigation structures by removing more than 60,000 cubic metres of earth, placing over 7,400 cubic metres of concrete and doing thousands of square metres of stonework.
As a result, water passing capacity has been increased as against before, providing a guarantee to supply enough irrigation water to vast fields of several cities and counties and the tidelands scheduled to be reclaimed in North Phyongan Province.
